LIFE INSURANCE · SAN ANTONIO & NEW BRAUNFELS

For the people you love.
For the future you’re building.

Some conversations matter because of who depends on you. I’m Raheem Lucio, and I’ll help you explore Farmers Life® insurance with patience, clear explanations and attention to the people and plans that matter most.

FARMERS LIFE INSURANCE

Start with the people, not the paperwork.

Maybe you’ve welcomed a child, bought a home or started thinking about what your family would need without your income. Maybe life insurance has simply been on your list for too long. You don’t need every answer before we talk.

I’ll listen to what you want to accomplish, help you understand available coverage and walk through the next steps. You’ll have a direct contact at the Jennifer Hickman Agency in Universal City, serving families in San Antonio, New Braunfels and nearby communities.

Different goals. Different kinds of life insurance.

Farmers Life offers term and permanent life insurance options. We can compare how they work, how long you want coverage and what premium commitments fit your plans.

Term life insurance

Provides coverage for a defined period while required premiums are paid. It may fit needs with a timeline, such as raising children or paying a mortgage. Term policies do not build cash value.

Whole life insurance

Permanent coverage with level premiums, a death benefit and guaranteed cash value growth under the policy’s terms. Required premiums must be paid to maintain coverage.

Index universal life insurance

Permanent coverage with flexible features and interest-crediting tied to an index, subject to policy limits. It is not a direct stock-market investment. Charges and funding affect policy performance and longevity.

Optional riders

Ask which additional policy features may be available for your circumstances. Riders can involve extra cost, eligibility requirements and specific benefit conditions.

We’ll review costs, guarantees, non-guaranteed assumptions and what is required to keep a policy in force. Loans or withdrawals from permanent policies can reduce cash value and death benefits and may have tax consequences.

What would you want life insurance to help with?

We can start with the responsibilities already on your mind: household bills, a mortgage, children’s future needs, final expenses or the people who rely on your support. If you own a business, tell me whether continuity or a partner’s responsibilities are part of the discussion.

Rather than choosing an amount from a slogan, let’s talk about your priorities, timeline, budget and any existing coverage. The goal is a conversation you understand and a next step you feel comfortable taking.

Your first conversation can stay simple.

Use the quote form for your name, contact details and a short note about why you’re reaching out. Please keep health information, Social Security numbers and financial documents out of the form. I’ll explain the appropriate application process and any additional information needed.

Life insurance requires an application and eligibility review. Product availability and underwriting vary; a medical exam may be required. I’ll help you understand the process without promising approval or a specific premium.

CLEAR ANSWERS. A PERSONAL CONVERSATION.

Let’s talk about the people counting on you

Here’s where I’d start. Your policy and situation determine the details; let’s review them together.

I have life insurance at work. What happens if I leave that job?

Check your employer plan’s rules for keeping or converting the coverage, including deadlines and cost. It may not continue on the same terms. Bring the benefit summary to our conversation, and I’ll help you compare what you already have with the protection you want independent of your job.

Should I choose term life or something that can last longer?

Start with what the money needs to do. A term policy covers a stated period; permanent coverage can last longer when its requirements are met and may build cash value. I’ll help compare premiums, duration and policy conditions against your goals, rather than starting with a product name.

How do we work out an amount that actually fits my family?

Let’s start with the bills that would remain: housing, debts, childcare, income support and future plans. Then we’ll consider existing coverage and resources. I’ll help you build a practical starting point around those responsibilities and a premium you can maintain—not just pick a round number.

Do I have to take a medical exam to apply?

It depends on the product, coverage amount and underwriting. Some options may not require an exam, but that doesn’t mean everyone qualifies or that no health questions are asked. I’ll explain the application process for the options we discuss. Please keep medical details out of the website quote form.

Does a stay-at-home parent need life insurance too?

An income isn’t the only contribution a family depends on. Think about childcare, transportation and household work someone else might need to provide. We can include those responsibilities in the conversation and discuss whether coverage makes sense for your household and budget.

Can I replace my old life policy with a better one?

We can compare it, but keep the existing policy in place while you evaluate the change. New underwriting, costs, surrender charges and new policy provisions can affect the decision. I’ll help review the differences; don’t cancel existing protection until any replacement is confirmed in force and you understand the consequences.

Will my family get the cash value as well as the death benefit?

Don’t assume those amounts are added together. It depends on the policy and death-benefit option. Loans and withdrawals can also affect what remains payable. I’ll help you read the actual benefit provisions and distinguish guaranteed values from projections before you decide.
